You might just be a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)/ Empath!
As someone who has struggled with these same feelings, I understand how frustrating it can be. But there's a name for it: being a highly sensitive person (HSP). Learning about the concept of HSP and intuitive empaths brought me a sense of understanding and relief that helped me feel seen in a way that made sense.
My journey to understanding my HSP traits led me to create the Octopus Theory, a visualization technique that combines the principles of quantum energy, breathwork, and nervous system regulation to provide energetic protection and ease the negative impact of high sensitivity and empathy on the body. I found it to be incredibly effective for myself, and it can be used by anyone, regardless of age or location. The immediate effects are clear, and it has helped many people feel more in control and healthier as they navigate everyday disruptions through their energetic field.
Answer the following questions to find out:
Do you find you are easily overwhelmed or overstimulated?
Does art, music, or nature often deeply move you?
Do you notice details that others tend to overlook?
Do you feel affected by the moods and energy of others?
Do you require alone time to recharge and process your emotions?
Do you avoid violent or disturbing movies or TV shows?
Do you take criticism or negative feedback to heart?
Do you feel more affected by caffeine, alcohol, or drugs than others?
Do you have a rich and vivid inner life?
Do you feel like you are more sensitive to pain or discomfort than others?
If you answered "yes" to several of these, there's a good chance you're an HSP.
Don't worry, you're not alone, and there are techniques that can help you feel more in control and healthier as you navigate the world as an HSP.
